Bless you, Elisa! I pray that your dreams come true, they're very close to God's heart also. It is a scary leap...but God will show you when and how and you'll be ready to step out in faith! And Amy Wallace is a favorite of mine too, she is so encouraging and does an awesome job making everything work. I'm so encouraged that you found this interview and thank you for sharing your heart here!

Have you thought about joining ACFW, American Christian Fiction Writers? If you're interested in writing, it's a great place to start, and a very encouraging place to connect with other writer-mom's. Hope I see you more!

Wonderful! For some reason the Lord has me "following" Amy Wallace around the internet. First, I "found" her website, which I loved and my heart tugged within me. Then, I "found" her on amazon.com and was directed to this interview! As a mom who is aching to go home and be a stay-at-home mom, I am working on the ministry and writing career the Lord has led me toward. Of course, the questions continue in my head -- will I be able to go home? - will there be money? - where is this writing taking me? - and b/c I don't have those answers, I have to put my hope in the Lord and thank Him for His blessings, knowing that His plan is greater than my own. So for whatever the Lord has placed in my heart from reading Amy Wallace's story and "following" her around the internet, I am forever thankful. Thanks for this interview, my heart is so full it overflows with.....expectation, hope, excitement, wonder, awe??!!

Thanks, Gina and Leticia! And Amy, this interview keeps staying with me. You are such an encourager, and that 2 Samuel passage is a sword rightly dividing...do our sacrifices cost us anything? If they do, then that's a good sign.

Also, I really enjoyed hearing which curriculums you gravitate towards, they're all pretty unfamiliar to me. I've been looking into Veritas and Apologia and liking what I see.

Gina, you'd love Ransomed Dreams, go get a copy! ;)

Leticia, you're a busy mom! I have so far to go before I will feel successful at juggling writing with "everything else". Somehow you hold down a slightly more than part-time job, so don't sell yourself short. We all have our own unique challenges. That's for sure.
