Friendship and Pumpkin Soup
This week at Weekend Kindness I wrote about the contents of a letter that warmed me from the heart out, from a dear childhood friend. Be sure to go over there and read, Across the Miles.
While you’re there, you might want to print off the most delicious recipe for pumpkin soup that I’ve ever come across!
Delicious!

I just might have to try this! Never even heard of pumpkin soup before but looks so tasty! Plus the story about the letters is so warming it just makes you wanna make some warm, cozy soup.

Aw, thanks! I’m roasting a turkey today, and plan on making the soup tomorrow with turkey meat. I’ve only made it so far with chicken, can’t wait to try this. Yum!

Pumpkin flavor is definitely growing on me! I bet I’d like it as soup!

This is incredibly tasty…I did make it today for lunch for the girls and I, and it’s even yummier than it sounds. I think it’s the hint of nutmeg blending with Worcestershire’s sauce that makes it, for me! Mmm! And my family is just as in love with this soup, down to three year old asking for seconds!

Wow if a 3yo asks for seconds on something this healthy it must be good!

We loved the pumpkin soup too. My daughter, Jessica, the Monday night soup cooker, added a little cayenne to this. Gooood!

Mmm! Cayenne, I bet it did, I’ll have to note that on my recipe for next time!
Glad you liked it!
