Take a Look at Weekend Kindness

MInTheGap, most influential to my blogging beginnings, also runs the Weekend Kindness site. I encourage you all to check it out regularly, subscribe to it, etc. He’s recruited many great contributors and during the month of February the topic line-up has included: date ideas, special ways to show love to your spouse, showing love to kids, and passion and purity.

Tomorrow I’ll be posting there, with a post titled, “Ten Easy Ways to Savor Life With Your Kids”.

Hope you stop by and get acquainted with the great folks over there!

  1. I am heading over to the sites right now to check em out! Anything you have suggested so far has always turned out to be something I have liked! Hope all is well with you and your family!

PS-we got Facing the Giants so I’m gonna sneak watching it tonight (DH is on night shift for this week). I was planning to wait for him, but you’ve talked about how good it is so I can’t wait!

  2. Sooo, Geri, did you like FTG? My girls are wishing we hadn’t loaned our copy out so soon, my oldest particularly wants to slot it in for our next family movie night, ASAP!

Glad you’re going to visit Weekend Kindness, we’d love your interaction over there, and I know you’d enjoy the postings.

MIn, you’ve done a lot of work behind the scenes at WK, I’m glad you’ve stuck with it. I’ve always loved the idea you had when you started it, and it’s gone far beyond that now. Much more multi-faceted. Good job, btw, on all the great contributors you’ve rounded up. :)

  3. I loved it!!!! For once I got to sit down and watch a show that I not once was offended by anything…normally in films nowadays there is something, women, language, innuendos…so annoying! But this was a good GOOD movie! And I loved how they actually quoted Scripture…I’ve never watched a film like that before. I thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you SO much for the recommendation. I can’t wait for DH to watch it. I am very curious as to what his reaction will be. I recommended it to my parents also. LOL got anymore movie ideas? It is the PERFECT family movie night movie!

  4. Woo-hoo, Geri, I’m glad you liked it! I was gushing about it just like you for days after…I wish I had more good ones to recommend. The same church that produced FTG’s also produced one called Flywheel. I haven’t seen it yet, but am really wanting to. When your dh sees it, be sure to update me on his reaction! I hope it’s a hit…

    You’re welcome, Leticia!
