t’s a great day to put a basket together and leave it on your neighbor’s doorstep…how sneaky can you be?
Our favorite ideas for baskets:
- dishtowels
- bedding plants
- garden gloves
- seed packets
- homemade cookies
- mini-loaves of bread w/a jar of jam

I’ve never heard of doing that. Sounds like a great idea. Our town has a May Day Parade. My hubby and I particpated as kids with our classes.
We love May Day…and want to get some baskets out tomorrow but this week has been hectic enough. I’ll be lucky to get three baskets put together, and that’s only if I have time to bake this afternoon. We’re helping to pull off a big ladies retreat this weekend and tomorrow is full of plans to bake tea party treats and decorate the church!
I don’t know if there are any May Day parades in our area. Happy May Day early!

It was a happy day! We got six baskets delivered…in three counties! And it worked out well that we had to drive so many different directions anyway…
We received two May Day baskets ourselves! Fun!

Lol, well, I feel very remiss in not mentioning May Day here at the blog before! We’ve enjoyed the tradition for many years. It’s a fun excuse to connect with the neighbors and friends!
